I completely feel you. My entire family is Christian as well. But honestly, we were given this mind we should use it. To think. For ourselves. Ask your family members some questions and see if they can truly answer for themselves instead of only quoting the bible (which is questionable), or things they’ve learned from someone else… A relationship with God should be totally personal if you don’t 100% believe it don’t force yourself to. If they’re God is who they say he is he wouldn’t want you to. And you shouldn’t believe something just because you’re scared of going to hell…… Lol I think that’s a “sin” anyway. I have a great relationship with a higher power, whatever you want to call it, and it focuses on me working on me. Not me condemning what everyone else does.
It depends on what you’re asking. Are you asking if I believe in some big man in the sky? Lol, idk about that. I personally think the subject is too abstract to have concrete beliefs on. The truth is, no one knows. I do, however, know that we can not make the world work. We don’t choose when the rain falls, we don’t make the flowers bloom, we didn’t create the complex systems that make up our bodies or the complex systems that make up the bodies of ants. I think nature is amazing. I really appreciate how carefully it’s thought out. How literally beautiful the flowers are, they are truly designed.. And not graphically. Since I know that we did not create it I know that something did. I just think it’s slightly remedial to assume that whatever created our universe has any characteristics similar to ours.
Thanks for remembering correctly, as I’ve said before, crazy, how you say you’re not a Christian & people think you don’t believe in God. Seriously needa open your minds
